Evie F retains Lancashire Archery title and breaks more records

AKS Year 11 pupil is managing to balance her GCSE preparations with her archery competitions as she competed in the Lancashire Archery Indoor Championships held last weekend held at Preston College and again came away with trophies and records.

Competing in the Junior Ladies Barebow Class and defending her Indoor Lancashire Championship Junior title, Evie F not only retained her title but also broke her own Lancashire Junior and Northern Counties Junior records. Evie also set a new Senior Lancashire Indoor record, the first U18 Junior Lady to hold both indoor County records. Her impressive score of 543 is just 5 points off the British Junior record a target which Evie has her sights set on in her next competition in Wales next month.

 Evie was also awarded 44 Lancashire AA County Junior & Senior record certificates for records achieved in 2022 as well as being presented with her 2022 LAA Senior Team Medal & Bar. 

Looking ahead to later in the year Evie will be training and focussing on representing Archery England at the British Outdoor Championships and Archery GB at the 2024 European Indoor Championships in Croatia.
