"It’s been extremely pleasing to see regular OAKS players in Fylde’s 1st XV and 2nd team and throughout the age-group teams. The partnership is stronger than ever, and it’s an incredibly exciting time for both our school and the club as so much talent continues to emerge from our local area. We’re proud of our players and look forward to seeing even more of them pushing through and supporting Fylde at all levels."
Standout Season for AKS Players Across Fylde
As the season draws to a close, AKS students have received widespread recognition, securing team and individual accolades across the board:
- Fylde U14 – Lancashire Cup Winners
Congratulations to Tom C, Harry M, Hugo H, William H, William A, and Frank C for their pivotal roles in a cup-winning campaign.
- Fylde U15 – Lancashire Bowl Winners
With eight AKS students — Finn L, Will G, Jack W, Henry C, Archie E, Oakley W, David H, and Charlie D — this team showed the strength and depth of AKS talent.
- Fylde U18 – Double Champions
The U18s capped off a brilliant season by winning both the Lancashire Cup Final and the League Cup Final, with multiple AKS players contributing to this success.
Individual Honours and Elite Pathway Recognition
Several AKS students received prestigious end-of-season awards at Fylde RUFC:
- Dan Slawson – Hawks Coaches Player of the Season
- Kyle McCauley – Players’ Player of the Season
- Alex Clayton – Captains 1st XV Player of the Season
