Welcome Miss Cusimano, Teacher of Art

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Miss Amy Cusimano as our new Teacher of Art. She will start teaching after the Easter break. Here is a little more information about her.

During her own educational experience, Amy found the Art classroom to be a creative haven, a safe place to experiment and explore. Amy continued to follow a creative pathway and graduated from the University of Cumbria with a degree in Illustration in 2015, wanting to pass on her enthusiasm for creativity and imagination she was inspired to teach the next generation of young artists.

Amy has enjoyed teaching Art to a variety of key stages and sees herself as an advocate for the benefit of art for all ages and abilities. She has also had success working with special education needs students.

After completing her Post-Graduate Certificate in Education with outstanding practice in all areas of teaching, Amy is excited to begin her teaching journey at AKS Lytham. PUBLISHED: 28 March 2022
