The AKS Eco Warriors have taken another meaningful step in their mission to promote sustainability across our school community by delivering new recycling bins to the dining hall for all staff and students to use.
Sophia, Esther, Lily, Cody (our newest member), and Mr Collings met with Mr Shepherd, Head of Catering, and Kim, our pavilion superstar, to formally hand over the bins and continue their drive to champion the important message of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle within AKS and beyond.
This initiative reflects the group’s growing influence in shaping positive environmental habits across the school. Their efforts have already encouraged greater awareness of waste reduction, and plans are underway to introduce additional recycling hubs in the new year.
