For this week's Thursday Takeover, students from across the senior school took part in a fast-paced and competitive House Shoots event at AKS Lytham. The competition saw the students taking it in turns to kick a football as accurately as possible, with varying scores being awarded for different targets. The session was a great laugh and full of energy from the start, with students stepping up to test their shooting skills and earn valuable points for their house.

Events like this are a brilliant example of what Thursday Takeover is all about. They give students the chance to get involved, stay active and enjoy a healthy sense of competition, while strengthening our House spirit and sense of community.
A huge congratulations goes to Leighton House, who took the win and claimed the top spot. Well done to everyone who took part and contributed to such a positive and energetic event.
The next house event will be held on the 12th March 2026, where the teachers and students will be invited to take part in 'House Performs'.
