We are delighted to announce that our AKS enterprise team, Trinket Box, has been awarded first place in the Business for Good category at the national Tycoons finals, sponsored by the Peter Jones Foundation. This national recognition marks the sixth time an AKS team has reached the finals, reaffirming our strong culture of innovation and enterprise.
This year’s team impressed judges with a thoughtful and sustainable product range created by recycling old jewellery and upcycling sea glass. Their beautifully crafted items not only captured the imagination of customers but also generated profits of more than £2,000.
Throughout the competition, students demonstrated ambition and professionalism, developing valuable skills in digital content creation, marketing, customer engagement and sales. Their commitment to producing high-quality work with a positive social impact has been widely praised across our community.
