Celebrating an Exceptional Autumn Term

As the Autumn Term draws to a close, students across the school have much to be proud of. The past few months have been filled with hard work, determination, and a remarkable commitment to excellence. These qualities have made this term one of the most successful so far.

Year 7: A Term of Outstanding Achievement

Year 7 students set a very high standard, with 10 students earning the prestigious Gold Award, each achieving over 50 commendations. This level of success reflects consistent effort, kindness, and resilience.

Among them, Hollie A, Henry M, Alice, and Henrietta were invited to the stage to collect their certificates. Their achievements are impressive and very well deserved.

Further recognition went to Mila from 7A, Ivy from 7K, and Nithin from 7S, each earning 36 commendations, the highest in their forms. These students received the Fast Track Pass, granting them a free break time treat and VIP queue access.

A particular highlight was the announcement of two students achieving the remarkable Platinum Award, surpassing 70 commendations. Congratulations to Joseph and Rebecca, whose dedication has placed them at the top of the Year 7 commendation list.

House points for Year 7 were revealed, with Gawthorpe taking first place, followed by Leighton, Samlesbury, and Rufford.

Merit Leaders Across the School

The celebration continued with recognition for top merit earners in Years 8 to 11:

  • Year 8: Leading with a combined total of 100 merits were Arabella, Jack, Grace H, and Millie.

  • Year 9: The top achievers were Michael, Evie-Mae, and Sophia.
