Year 10 Design & Technology trip explores Creative Careers

Year 10 Design & Technology visited The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts​ (LIPA) earlier this week to sample creative career paths.  Our students were treated with a first look at the immersive first year set design exhibition.

AKS students got to explore the facilities and completed two workshops firstly designing creative costumes together sampling materials and considering function. Secondly pupils experienced life as a lighting engineering organising different effects, creating different moods and gel overlays to enhance colour on stage.  

It was a very enjoyable visit and we thank LIPA once again for having us! @AKSDesignTech
