AKS Action Fundraiser: ‘Village Aid’; which supports a village called Buigiri, and the nearby Blind Rehabilitation Centre, in Tanzania
🏃♀️Would you like to take part in the ‘Lockdown Longest Day 10km’ to raise money for one of the school’s global charities ‘Village Aid’; which supports a village called Buigiri, and the nearby Blind Rehabilitation Centre, in Tanzania? 🏃♂️
Unfortunately, this year due to the circumstances, we are unable to do this together. However, we are proposing something different due to the social distancing restrictions.
The AKS Action team would like to invite you to walk or run your own 10km route in support of Village Aid on 20th-22nd June. Whilst we encourage as many of our AKS community to get involved, you must ensure that your own safety is very carefully considered and that you follow government guidelines regarding social distancing.
Once you have completed your 10km please send your photos to the email address below and you will be uploaded to our wall of fame on social media. 📸
Last year over 70 participants took part – raising £1000 for the ‘Village Aid’ charity. We are hoping that this year will be just as successful and go some way to reach our target.
