Introducting Retro Records our third team to enter Tycoons In Schools PUBLISHED 30 November 2020 by Graeme McIntyre, Head of Business Education So we've showcased Mission Masks and That’s a Wrap now here's our third introduction to another group of Year 12 entrepreneurs who have entered this year's Tycoons in Schools competition. Retro Records up-cycle unwanted vinyl records, if only I could have done the same to my Dad’s Perry Como albums back in the day. The records are supplied by an auction house and otherwise would have been disposed of. The group is experimenting with a range of styles and just developed an effective Christmas range. Prices start at £3 for the smallest vinyl. This was the first group to make a profit and have also been commended by the Peter Jones Foundation on their branding and logo. All profits will be donated to Children with Cancer UK.
