Focusing on different topics relating to cross-cultural perspectives in Psychology
Mr Collings, Head of Psychology at AKS Lytham is delighted to announce the next international Psychology collaboration, through Round Square. This project is with College de La Salle, in Amman, Jordan.
Next week will be the introductory Zoom meeting for 17 students, in 4 groups. Each group will be focusing on a different topic relating to cross-cultural perspectives in Psychology. A conference day will then be held in April, where the groups present the results of their academic research.
The Round Square IDEALS of international understanding and democracy, plus the Discoveries of inquisitiveness, appreciation of diversity, and team-working skills, are reflected in the Psychology collaborations and provided the inspiration to organise.
The previous Psychology collaboration with Trivandrum School in Kerala, India, was a resounding success, with students from both schools remarking on how much they enjoyed learning from, and working closely with, like-minded students from a different culture.
