Introducing our Anonymous Reporting Service

PUBLISHED 14 May 2021

We are committed to supporting the safety and well-being of our students and to providing ways to help you tell us if you or your family have any school problems or worries such as bullying, peer issues, schoolwork. Reporting issues is a very effective way to enable us to be able to deal with risks before they escalate into harm. The most effective way to raise a concern is to speak to your tutor, a member of the pastoral team, or you can approach any member of staff. However, we understand that sometimes, coming into school to tell us about these issues may not be an easy thing to do.

Reporting issues supports a positive school culture, enabling us to raise awareness of themes and address any challenges through discussion and education. For example, reporting someone who is bullying can very often result in interventions which enable behaviour change. Reporting concerns and bad behaviours can also stop them from happening to others. If people know their unacceptable behaviour will be reported, it is less likely to happen, and this can have a positive effect across the whole school.

The AKS anonymous reporting service is a new service, accessible for pupils, families, and the local community. It allows you to send a message to a confidential school email account managed by Safeguarding Lead, Mr Hayden (Assistant Head & DSL) who works with experienced staff, trained in responding to issues.

Visit our Safeguarding page to access this and other channels of support.
