Last Thursday, under glorious sunshine, the Senior School Sports Day took place—an unforgettable celebration of personal bests, team spirit and enthusiastic participation from all.
The atmosphere on the field was electric as students gave their all across a wide range of track and field events. From lightning-fast sprints to thrilling relay finishes, the day was packed with determination, courage, and effort. Many pupils achieved new personal bests, and several set new school records—an outstanding accomplishment for everyone involved.
Participation was truly impressive, with every form represented and every house cheering loudly. It wasn’t just about winning; it was about trying your hardest and enjoying the moment.
A huge congratulations to Gawthorpe House, who claimed overall victory! Their teamwork, commitment and sportsmanship were exceptional and well-deserved.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our PE Department, who once again organised a fantastic, smooth-running day. Their dedication, energy, and enthusiasm are what make this event such a highlight each year.
Thank you also to all the teachers and staff who came to support—it meant the world to the students and added to the positive energy of the day.
