Lower Sixth London Residential by Casey L PUBLISHED 20 March 2024 The two-day London trip in February did not feel like two days, we crammed so much into each day it felt like we had been there for a lot longer! We saw Buckingham Palace, visited the British Museum, shopped in Covent Garden, had an evening meal, and saw Wicked the musical… all in one day! Even as it rained, whilst queuing for the museum - and ‘rained’ is an understatement - it was fun to be surrounded by friends and accompanied by Mr O’Loughlin’s fun facts about the pieces. On the second day we went on a riverboat cruise and then my group went to Camden Market in our free time. This was a great experience because we got to see so many sites on the boat and eat a lot of nice food in the free time. I think the best part of the residential was navigating our way through London, and I learnt how to navigate the tube system by myself, a feat I never thought I would be able to do!
