AKS Historians Battlefields Trip

During half term, the History Department took 45 historians to France and Belgium on a Battlefield's trip. Students were able to visit Vimy Ridge, Newfoundland Park, Tyne Cot, Sanctuary Wood, and the Menin Gate amongst other locations. They were able to develop a deeper understanding of the tragic costs of war and see the locations of war first hand.
