Scholars’ Society: Order and Chaos

Headmaster, David Harrow, led our March Scholars’ Society meeting, which encouraged students to work together to think differently about the world around them.

During the session, Mr Harrow explored how seemingly random information, processes and nature produce order, considering examples such as famous works of art, Sierpinski’s Triangle, the mathematical formulae of a fern leaf and generative AI.

The next lunchtime lecture will take place on Monday 11th March at 1.30pm. It will be led by Head of Sociology, Mr Kevin Maund. The topic is ‘Generation Alpha’. Academic enrichment sessions are mandatory for Academic Scholars, however, all students are welcome.
