The AKS cross country team showcased their exceptional skills and determination at the Wyre and Fylde cross-country event, which was hosted at AKS last Tuesday. The team's performance was nothing short of brilliant, with several top ten finishes in various categories.
In the Year 7 competition, Sadie secured an impressive 2nd place finish, while Evie showcased her talent with a commendable 6th place finish.
The Year 8 and 9 boys' category saw Thomas finish 7th and Matt secure a strong 9th place. In the Year 8 and 9 girls' category, Isabella displayed her prowess with a remarkable 4th place finish, closely followed by Elsie in 5th place.
Cody showcased his skills in the Year 10 and 11 boys' category, securing an impressive 9th place finish. Sophie demonstrated her talent in the Year 10 and 11 girls' category, finishing an impressive 4th.
However, the highlight of the event was Sophia's outstanding run, which led her to clinch victory in the Year 10 and 11 race.
