Students pitch to PTA panel for enrichment initiatives

On Friday 2nd February, both Prep and Senior School students pitched their ideas for enrichment initiatives to our PTA panel in a "Dragons Den" format. This enabled them to hone their presentation, communication and leadership skills, whilst taking an active role in influencing how money raised through the PTA is spent.

Our PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a group of parents and teachers who organise events to promote friendship within the school community. Events include the Winter Ball, Christmas Fair, Spring Fair, Wine Tasting evenings and Summer Festival, as well as Halloween and Valentine's Day discos and parties in Nursery and Prep School. Money is also raised through donations made to the PTA's termly New2You pre-loved uniform sales. Together, these events and initiatives raise c.£12,000 annually which is then reinvested into enrichment activities across the school.
