Saturday 9th November vs Fylde
On Saturday 9th November AKS Prep School U8 and U9 visited Fylde Rugby Club to take part in some mini-matches as part of the 1st XV fixture against their Junior teams.
In freezing conditions both age groups took to the field and showed great team work, endeavour and resilience vs their opponents.
The U9, under guidance of Mr Holmes played some impressive rugby and competed in all their matches. William in particular made great strides in continuing to demonstrate his tackling skills.
The U8, split into 2 teams, played brilliantly throughout and during their games showed great tenacity and endurance. Harry and Freddie impressed along with many others.
After some lunch the boys then took to the field with their Fylde counterparts to form the guard of honour and cheer on Fyldes 1st team to an impressive win against Loughborough Students.
It was a great occasion for both boys and parents and opens up our rugby pathway.
