Isaac attended Prof Michael Scott's lecture "Walking with the Gods: The Religious Lives of the Ancient Greeks", 9th January, 2020
Last week at this time we welcomed Prof. Michael Scott to AKS Lytham in his Presidential address to the Lytham St Annes Classical Association held in our senior school hall.
One of the youngest members of the audience was Isaac from Year 3 who set himself the task of reporting on the evening's lecture by Prof Michael Scott, "Walking with the Gods: The Religious Lives of the Ancient Greeks", 9th January, 2020. He subsequently produced his own 'Horrible Histories' interpretation of the stories he heard at the lecture.
After tucking into the infamous 'classics cakes', he enjoyed hearing the colourful and funny stories about how the ancient Greeks lived and about their weird and wonderful beliefs. He then decided to put a 'Horrible Histories' spin on the content by creating a poster which tells us "How to worship like an Ancient Greek". Well done Isaac!
