A Series of Talks by our Alumni

Our Year 12 students have now been given access to the alumni careers support database enabling them to connect with our alumni for advice about university courses and/or chosen career paths.

This will be followed up with advice about CV writing, online assessments, mock interviews and topic talks tailored to support our students' interests.

We're grateful to Matt Swalllow who recently presented a Skype webinar to our lower sixth offering university advice and study skills, which was very informative.

We also have two evening webinars scheduled for the coming weeks:

  • 11th June 6pm - Harry Bickerstaffe will discuss his experiences in studying medicine at University Liverpool, working towards his intercalated degree at University of Cambridge and his wish to now pursue a biological sciences/medical alternative career path.
  • 16th June 6pm - Jack Walker will be focusing on his career in ecology/conservation and his current work as a Newt Officer in Gloucester.

We welcome volunteers to speak from across our alumni. One of the lessons learned during the current lockdown is that physical distance is no longer a barrier in making connections!
