AKS Support and Review Fortnight: Years 10 and 12 PUBLISHED 10 June 2020 Commences: 15th June. All subject areas are continuing to make very good progress with the GCSE and A level curricula through our remote learning provision, however, in line with government guidelines, we are now able to supplement this provision with a ‘Support and Review Fortnight’ for both Year 10 and Year 12, commencing Monday 15th June. This series of review sessions/support clinics will enable students to clarify any topics they are unsure of, discuss queries in a face-face context and allow staff to review common misconceptions, and challenging topics. The review sessions/support clinics will be delivered through a combination of ‘face-to-face’ sessions in school, and remotely through Skype. Parents and students have received detailed timetables which enable the safe on-site delivery of sessions, as well as the provision for those who prefer to remain at home. As usual, all remote sessions will be recorded, so students can revisit them again later if they so wish Further information can be found on our dedicated COVID page and in our Senior School Parent Handbook.
