Welcome to Mrs Wilson, Learning Support Teacher

PUBLISHED 13 September 2020

Mrs Wilson is from Lancashire and has been teaching for 27 years. She has taught in both learning support and the science departments, although her passion lies with supporting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Jackie has a positive outlook and a hard-working attitude. She wants the best for all students in her care and is very keen to contribute to the wider co-curricular activities at AKS.

She has two children and is an avid fell walker. She has completed all the Wainwrights and last year went to Everest Base Camp and up to Gokyo Lakes. In her previous school, she used her love of the fells to raise money for a defibrillator and raised money for various other charities.
