We're delighted to announce that we're running FREE VIRTUAL classes for TODDLERS and PRESCHOOLERS run by AKS Nursery & Prep specialist teachers. The classes will be broadcast on both our Facebook and YouTube pages and are open to all. There's no registration, or sign-up required.
This programme was initially devised to support our local community during lockdown, as we know many in-person toddler and pre-schooler activities are no longer taking place; however due to the fantastic response following the launch of both 'Move with Moretti' (exercise) and 'Sing-a-long Christmas' (music) classes, we will now extend this programme into next year to cover other pre-schooler-friendly topics. Parents have commented, "Just watched this with my 11 month old. She loves music! She can't sing yet but danced and laughed all the way through, she was glued to the screen! Thank you for a lovely musical session!"; "Thank you so much, Daisy loved it"; "Great job Mr Moretti!"; "Mr Morretti - brilliant!"; "Love it!"; "Great job!".
The sessions can be watched either live, or at a time when it is more convenient, which makes them particularly useful for those who already attend AKS pre-school and would like to enjoy sessions with their favourite specialist teachers in the evenings, or at the weekend.
Introducing the Sessions:
1. 'Move with Moretti': 20th, 27th November & 4th December. 9.30am on Facebook and 9.45am on YouTube.
Weekly FRIDAY sessions to help Pre-Schoolers keep active in lockdown. The sessions are a fun way to kick-start the day with Mr Moretti (AKS Nursery & Prep Sports Coordinator). Join him and his helpers each week for high-energy fun!

2. 'Christmas Sing-A-Long': 25th November, 2nd & 9th December. 9.30am on Facebook and 9.45am on YouTube.
Weekly WEDNESDAY sessions to keep you singing in lockdown with our 'Christmas Sing-a-long' music classes led by Mr Thomas (AKS Nursery & Prep School Music Coordinator) and Leonard, his musical bear!
These three sessions are a fun way to keep singing in lockdown and get into the Christmas spirit! Join us to learn Christmas songs together in preparation for a final Sing-a-long concert!

3. 'Miss Allen Reads': material available on our dedicated Pre-Schooler Programme YouTube Playlist
A series of videos created as part of the Pre-School/Reception transition programme in 2019/20, provided on the playlist to watch at your leisure. Further stories will follow in this gentle, relaxing storytime session led by Miss Allen, AKS Reception class teacher.
