End-of-Term Celebration Highlights Outstanding Student Achievements

As the term draws to a close, the school community takes a moment to celebrate the exceptional achievements and efforts of students across all year groups. From commendations to merits, the dedication, hard work, and positive attitudes displayed by students have made this term a remarkable success. 

Record-Breaking Achievements in Year 7 

In Year 7, almost every student earned a bronze certificate for achieving 15 commendations, a testament to their collective effort. An impressive 31 students went on to achieve silver certificates, while four students reached the prestigious gold certificate milestone. Among these standout performers, one student, Millie, achieved an unprecedented 62 commendations, setting a new school record. 

Congratulations to the top achievers; Arabella, Fraser, Millie, and Alex, who have earned a special Fast Track pass. This pass includes priority dining privileges and a complimentary treat. 

House Points: Year 7 Results 

House points for Year 7 were closely contested this term: 

  • 4th place: Rufford  

  • 3rd place: Samlesbury  

  • 2nd place: Gawthorpe  

  • 1st place: Leighton 

Fantastic work by all Year 7 students! 

Year Group Achievements 

  • Year 8: This term saw fierce competition for merit leaders, with Darcey, Issy, and Isabella earning the top spots. 

  • Year 9: Outstanding efforts were recognised for Matheson, Victoria, and Estelle. 

  • Year 10: Sienna and Emma led the way with exceptional contributions. 

  • Year 11: Lilly and Charlie stood out for their remarkable achievements. 

  • Sixth Form: In Year 12, Alfie and Jen received recognition, while Hugo and Christian took the spotlight in Year 13. Each of these students will receive a completed PERK card to redeem for a reward in the Dining Hall or Pavilion. 

House Competition Update 

Every commendation and merit contributes to house points, fostering a spirit of teamwork and collective achievement. The term’s overall house rankings are: 

  • 4th place: Leighton 

  • 3rd place: Rufford 

  • 2nd place: Samlesbury 

  • 1st place: Gawthorpe 

These results will be combined with points from other events, and the final standings will be unveiled during next week’s final assembly. 

Congratulations to all prize winners and to every student whose efforts contributed to their house’s success. Here’s to another term filled with hard work, accomplishments, and school spirit.
