The Spring Term has brought with it the football season and there have been a number of fixtures over the last fortnight.

The Under 12 have lost their opening games of the season. However Harry S has scored in consecutive games and there have been Man of The Match (MOTM) performances from James and Max.

The Under 13 bounced back from a loss against QEGS with a thrilling victory against Ripley.  Reuben continued his rich goalscoring form with his third goal in two matches and Frank also contributed with a brace.  Special mention of MOTM performances from John and Will - and also Harry’s goal on Saturday widely acknowledged to be a “worldie”.

The Under 14s lost a tough opening fixture against QEGS 2-1 despite a MOTM performance from Charlie. However, on Saturday they showed great resilience to come back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2. Tino was named MOTM for his tireless work leading the line.

The Under 15s have faced a tough start to the season but have scored some good goals and particular praise goes to Hamza and Ethan for their respective MOTM performances.

The senior team have had an excellent start to the season. A thrilling 2-2 draw against QEGS was followed by Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Ripley.  Alfie K is leading the way with 3 goals in the opening two matches whilst Daniel and Alfie L have both contributed well-deserved MOTM performances.

Well done to all involved.
