Senior School Tea Time Concert, 12th October

PUBLISHED 13 October 2023

On Thursday 12th October, Adam Brown, Co-ordinator of Co-curricular Music, hosted the first of this year’s Tea Time Concerts in the newly renovated Senior School Recital Room.

As always, it was an eclectic mix of genres, ranging from musicals to opera, performed by students from Years 7 to 13. Adam noted in particular how great it was to see the number of Year 7s who had put themselves forward for the concert. Eighteen students performed solos and duets on saxophone, clarinet, piano and voice. With the last performance by Esmee B-E and Tom H (Year 13) attracting their own support group, with their peers out in force to see their performance of Adele’s Love in the Dark – a fitting end to the concert which opened with Maia C (also Year 13) who played Make You Feel My Love, also by Adele.

Well done everyone – it’s whetted our appetites for next week’s Autumn Concert which takes place on the 18th October.

Advanced tickets are strongly recommended. They are £5 and can be purchased on TryBooking.
