Year 7 students enjoy a fascinating ecological trip to Leighton Moss RSPB PUBLISHED 19 May 2023 Our Year 7 Leighton Moss RSPB ecological trip has been a huge success again this year. Year 7 students were treated to a series of tasks to determine the ecological impact of building new hide. The sun was shining and the surveying of the habitats were rich in diversity. Newts, tawny owl chicks, and the elusive bittern were a real highlight for Head of Science Mr Downey. Hugo H’s favourite part was the bird watching in the hide where he saw a male and female marsh harrier. A wonderful learning experience for our students!
