Headmaster's Dinner in honour of Year 13 students PUBLISHED 31 March 2022 On Friday 25th March, we held our first Headmaster's Dinner. The dinner marks the beginning of a new tradition, with Year 13, school Governors and senior members of staff invited to a formal dinner held to honour our Year 13 students' outstanding contribution to our school. Our talented catering team served a superb dinner in our Senior Hall, followed by the Headmaster's address and guest speaker, Professor StJohn Crean - an AKS Governor and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Clinical and Health) at The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). Head Student, Oliver, concluded with a vote of thanks. David Harrow, Headmaster, summed up the spirit of the evening: "It was wonderful to celebrate an evening with this fantastic group of individuals: whilst there is always a bittersweet melancholia as our oldest students move towards their final term, I could not be more proud of what they have achieved, and the people they have become".
