63 students complete Bronze D of E qualifying expedition

On Sunday 9th May, 63 of our Year 10 students started their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh qualifying expedition near Beacon Fell.  It was a challenging two days where they planned and walked two routes in the open countryside with heavy rucksacks and changeable weather to deal with.

It was an excellent experience for all participants, and they have now all successfully completed the expedition section. Well done everyone!
