AKS Music Tour - Germany

We are delighted that our Music Department is planning to go on tour to Germany in July 2022.

The tour, which is being organised by NST, an educational travel company based locally, will depart from school on Saturday 9th July and arrive back on Thursday 14th July. We will travel by executive coach and stay for five nights on a full board basis, in the Hotel Anker Mosel.

This idyllic location on the bank of the river Moselle will allow us several visits to picturesque German towns, as well as a day excursion to Phantasialand.

The trip will be led jointly by Mr Waterhouse and Mr Brown, and they will be accompanied by several members of staff. The students will get the opportunity to perform in three concerts across the week and excursions will include: a cruise on the River Moselle; a visit to Siegfried’s Musikkabinett to see its self-playing instruments; a visit to the picturesque town of Ruedesheim; and a day at Phantasialand
