We understand how the first five years of life are critical. Character is formed, and personality shaped. Children learn best through play, by exploring new concepts in a social setting, articulating their thoughts and cementing their learning. They also learn by doing and need encouragement to build their own opinions, think creatively and connect ideas. Please come to visit our amazing newly designed outdoor area.
However, our Early Years programme is just the beginning. As children grow and develop, our approach evolves too. We have outstanding teachers who deliver curricular and co-curricular programmes which ignite their natural curiosity and desire to learn. In addition, our specialist teachers cover Computing, Art, Music, Drama, Sport, French, Spanish, German and Design Technology who challenge the children’s learning to an exceptional standard.
Beyond academics, character education is fully embedded across the whole school using the Round Square Discovery Framework. This encourages the children to think critically about the values of internationalism, democracy, environmentalism, being adventurous, leadership and service in the community.
Such experiences build foundations for life and are embodied in the phrase ‘Change Your World’. Our children are hardworking, polite and extremely well accomplished in their academic lessons as well as in the Performing Arts and Sport. Their wellbeing is central to their learning and to our focus as a school.
