Spotlight on Sixth Form - Student Interview

PUBLISHED 17 November 2019

An interview with Jasper (Year 12) by Digital Strategy Leaders, Emily and Niamh (Year 13)

1) What is your name?

Jasper

2) What subjects do you do? Why?

Maths, economics and geography, because I find these topics interesting and it should help me when trying to find universities.

3) What is your favourite thing about sixth form? And why?

Our private study periods because they give us more time to spend on work and independent study, and I also enjoy spending time in the common room.

4) What does a typical day in sixth form look like for you?

I’m usually busy with my subjects because I try and research more and read further about a topic that I may be on. Also I have all my subjects every day, therefore that keeps me busy.

5) What advice would you give to a year 12 about to start sixth form?

Take part in activities but don’t overdo it, so you will still have time to do work. Also use your frees for homework and revision, which should hopefully help you keep on top of your work.
