Well done Lara - D&T skills recognised by judges!

Great news here at AKS School!

 Year 8 Design & Technology member Lara has recently been judged 11th out of over 1500+ UK school entries, in an external design competition!

Hosted by Design Futures, Lara and others had to design a tracksuit for new London fashion brand Illusive. Each needed to research the brand, consider their target audience and be innovative!

The judges were impressed with Lara's respect of nature and reversible pants stating "Lara's designs matched the judging criteria very well and showed solid understanding of the design process".

Lara has been in receipt of a huge prize today to enjoy at her leisure and we thank her and others for sharing their talent. Well done Lara!
