Last Friday our Nursery & Preparatory School students raised money with a cake sale for Macmillan Cancer Support.  They raised over £300 for this very worthwhile charity – one that is very close to all of our hearts.  Thank you to Mr Munro and his team @AKSHospitality for the beautifully baked cakes, they were delicious!

One of our Year 4 students, Rupert, also held his very own ‘cakeaway’ over the weekend at Preston marina also raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Rupert’s persuasive sunny personality shone through and he managed to raise a staggering £453! Well done Rupert!

Mrs Blinston, Y4 teacher, praised Rupert’s efforts and caring nature - “Rupert reflects the AKS school ethos brilliantly by caring for others and using compassion, which is one of the Round Square discoveries embedded in the curriculum.“

Well done to everyone on your fundraising.  Plans will be bubbling in in Senior School shortly, with AKS Action coming back together, in year groups, this week.
