Lancashire FA Cup football success for our girl Beth

Just before the half term break, Beth R (Year 10) won the Lancashire FA Cup with her team, Fleetwood Anchors U15s against Blackpool. Not only did Beth play a pivotal role in their progress to and success in the final, she was also named Player of the Match.

Beth started kicking a ball around with her brothers when she was one. She played every breaktime & lunch from reception through to year six (ruining most of her school shoes in the process). 

She started training at David Lloyd in Bolton from the age of four and attended Football camps at Bolton Wanderers during school holidays before moving to Lytham when she was eleven. 

Beth’s ambition for her future in football is not limited to a specific goal, other than to continue to enjoy playing, but as she progresses through the age grades she is certainly showing huge promise and potential.
