We are delighted to announce the next speaker at our Enhanced Sports Performance Programme (ESPP). Imani-Lara Lansiquot will present on Wednesday 26th May at 7pm. All AKS students are welcome to join.
Imani-Lara Lansiquot is a 23 year old sprinter on the GB team. She is a World Silver Medallist and European Gold Medallist in the current 4 x 100m team. She is also the current British Champion over 100m, the fourth fastest British woman in history and the third-fastest teenager in British history.
Her personal best over 100m is 11.09s, and Imani is hoping to make her first Olympic Games in Tokyo and bring home an Olympic medal for the country.
She is also a recent graduate from Kings College London, studying Psychology.
Our Enhanced Sports Performance Programme (ESPP) was launched in November 2020 to address the physical, psychological, technical and tactical aspects of sport. The programme is aimed at all students, whatever their sporting interest, by drawing on the technical and professional expertise of sports science specialists, alumni and local professionals.
