Empowering our students to develop life skills

All year groups at AKS are in the middle of a module on relationships and sex. Here we see Year 10 working together to complete some baseline tasks, so we at AKS can make a bespoke programme based around pupil voice as well as meeting statutory guidelines.

This popular module aims to help empower our children to develop the life skills needed to approach what can be an increasingly complex area of their development.  RSE operate a spiral curriculum, which means that we may revisit several topics, year on year, in increasing depth, allowing for greater understanding as pupils grow and mature.

Oh...and they have fun along the way!
