With preparations for our upcoming production well underway. I am most delighted to share the final members of our Creative Team.
Choreographer – Helen Vidotti
We are most excited to announce that Mrs Helen Vidotti will fill the position of our choreographer, focusing on dance routines for Roxie, Velma, the Principal Ensemble and the Murderesses.
Helen’s 10-year performing career has seen her achieve Miss Dance Finalist in 2003 & 2004 as well as help choreograph and perform in the 1st BBC/ABC production of “Dancing with the Stars.” After performing at many venues such as cruise ships and theatres she currently teaches vocational courses of Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Musical Theatre at Phil Winston’s Danceworks in Blackpool where she has also been able to choreograph dance numbers and co-ordinate some of their performances.
Helen is also about to start work choreographing for another upcoming production of Chicago working alongside Jennifer Ellison who Played Roxy in the West End production.
Wardrobe Supervisor – Regina Coulon
We are also thrilled to announce that Mrs Regina Coulon will fill the position of Wardrobe Supervisor.
Regina has 12 years of experience through which she has created, sourced and maintained a variety of different costume. Throughout her experience Regina has worked on TV, film and theatre. With notable collaborations with the National Theatre, BBC1 & Collabro. Regina was also responsible for procuring costumes for the opening and closing ceremonies for the Commonwealth Games between May and October 2022.
Recently Regina was Head of Wardrobe for productions of Hairspray and Legally Blond which were performed at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool.
Currently Regina is also working on costumes for the West End production of Elf, performed at the Dominion Theatre staring Simon Lipkin.
Promo Videographer – Danny Shiers
Though not with us for the entirety of our rehearsal process I would also like to share how exciting it was to work with AKS alumni Danny Shiers.
Danny was the videographer for our Chicago Promo filmed at The Winter Gardens.
Since leaving AKS Danny has worked on the Netflix series: The Crown, the Sky Atlantic series: Tin Star and a Discovery+ series as an SA, sound assistant and a runner respectively. With this experience within the industry, we were elated to collaborate with him.
