Prep School Harvest Festival Assembly

We were delighted to welcome Prep School parents to our Harvest Festival assembly, held in the OAKS Hall on Friday 20^th October.

Head of Nursery and Prep School, Amanda Ilhan introduced the Reverand Paul Bye who made the notion of being ‘thankful’ relevant to their daily lives by talking about people involved in the many aspects of food production. This included an engaging quiz which explored the word for ‘thank you’ in different languages.

Children in Reception to Year 6 sang songs, including several penned by Prep School Music Co-ordinator, Dan Thomas which had been enjoyed at the recent celebration of Grandparents’ Day.

Well done to everyone who recited and read poems and for the superb actions and singing!
