Year 9 student, Gracie G, is part of a team of dancers from the Langley Dance Academy, Blackpool who successfully qualified to represent England at the 2023 Dance World Cup Finals which was held in the beautiful town of Braga, Portugal in July.
The event commenced with a huge procession through the town of Braga, with over fifty countries and 7500 students participating and was followed by eight continuous days of dancing.
Congratulations to Team England on being the overall winners and Langley’s for gaining four World Championships (Gold Medals), five Silver Medals and four Bronze Medals, and being awarded The Most Outstanding Children’s Large Group.
Gracie competed in both the Small and Large group Children’s and Junior group sections and was awarded 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze medals and the Most outstanding Large Children's Group Award.
This is an incredible achievement and experience, congratulations to Team England, Langley's, and of course, our girl, Gracie!
