Sarah Shepherd now joins Sarah Walton supporting alumni engagement and the AKS Lytham Foundation

It has been a fantastic 9 months since I started as Director of Development at AKS Lytham last September. I have met some incredible people within our alumni and school community. Last month, we launched the school's new charity, the AKS Lytham Foundation, where our ambition is to provide life-changing opportunities to young people through education.

To support with this work, I am delighted to announce that Sarah Shepherd now joins me in the Development Office as Development and Alumni Relations Lead. As a QMS alumna, Sarah brings a huge amount of experience to the role alongside her marketing expertise. 

We are both looking forward to working together and we have more developments planned this summer with the introduction of OAKS LinkedIn and OAKS Instagram as well as enabling opportunities for our alumni to support AKS students with careers education and mentoring from September 2023.
