May all your dreams come true - our wish for Year 11

PUBLISHED 13 May 2022

Today we celebrated our Year 11s with an informal BBQ in front of the cricket pavillion, where students enjoyed a variety of BBQ'd foods followed by a delicious cheesecake! They finish today for study leave before sitting their GCSEs.

Students stood side by side, as they listened and cheered Mr Rudd's emotional speech, as he wished them good luck.

It has been an absolute pleasure to watch these students develop during their time in Middle School and we wish them all the very best as they move onto the next stage in their education.

"Whatever the future holds the staff at school wish you all the very best and hope that you stay fit and healthy and that all of your dreams come true.

Those of you who are coming back we will look forward to watching you mature over the next 2 years into well rounded individuals ones who will move towards the specialist areas where you see your future lying.

Those who go elsewhere, we will be sad to see you go but hope that you will come back and keep us informed of how you are doing. You will always be an AKS pupil in our hearts and will be welcomed back at any time.

Over the next few weeks when the going gets tough, when the sun is out and you are missing out on parties, BBQ’s and the likes, you must keep in the front of your mind that it was only for a few weeks and that hard work now in May and June 2022 should see the future that you have always hoped for come a lot closer."
