AKS students to end the year on a high with Colour-Run fundraiser

PUBLISHED 27 May 2021

We are delighted to announce that we will end the academic year with a Colour-Run fundraiser in support of The Sparkle Foundation. As the children run through a course, they will have colourful powders thrown at them. The coloured powder used is, of course, totally safe and biodegradable; by the end of the run, the children will look like beautiful rainbows! The activity will be made safe and age-appropriate for each age group.

The Sparkle Foundation in Malawi, our gold charity partner, has suffered from a significant reduction in donations over the past year, putting the health and education of vulnerable children and the livelihoods of many at further risk. In support of Sarah Brook, alumni and CEO of The Sparkle Foundation, we would like to raise as much money as possible for the Sparkle community.

The Colour Run will take place on Friday 9th July. The cost per student is £10 and will include a charity t-shirt to be worn during the event.

We are all looking forward to this event which will be a fantastic way to bring the whole school community together and celebrate the hard work and commitment of our students over the past year.
