Congratulations to Victoria K, national winner: Best In Everyone Award for Business

Last night, Year 12 student Victoria K was recognised as the national winner of United Learning's Business Award at the annual Best in Everyone gala dinner, held at The Cutlers' Hall, Sheffield.  

This award recognises Victoria's incredible achievement in the Tycoons Enterprise Competition, which she entered as a one-woman business. Her thorough business plan gained funding from the Peter Jones Foundation and she set up Cart Coins a 3D printed solution for when you forget your pound coin for a shopping trolley. As part of her journey, Victoria excelled in a 'Dragons Den' pitch, where the experienced panel felt she gave the best pitch they have seen for years.

Her keyrings made a net profit of £603.25 in 6 weeks for her chosen charities: North West Air Ambulance and The Peter Jones Foundation.
