Three AKS players selected for Lancashire U17 XV rugby

After two gruelling selection days at Myerscough College, three of our talented Year 12 students were delighted to have gained selection for Lancashire U17 XV. 

A huge congratulations to Reece, Max and Cameron upon their selection, this is a phenomenal achievement.

The boys all play for the school's 1st XV team and have all also trained and played for Fylde RFC.  They are locally developed players, both at school and club level.

Mr Alan Holmes, Head of Rugby at AKS said "Congratulations to the boys - they have worked tremendously hard and each made real progression.  We are immensely proud of all three of them.  We are also delighted that AKS Lytham is well-represented within the Lancashire U17 XV team,  It shows what fabulous talent there is right here locally both within our school and at our local club!"

The team plays against Cheshire this Sunday, and then Cumbria the following Sunday.
