Lunchtime Lecture Series: 'The Ethics of Portrayals of Violence in the Media'

Our first Lunchtime Lecture of the year took place on the 24th November in the Senior Hall.

It was entitled, 'The Ethics of Portrayals of Violence in the Media', delivered by Head of Drama, Martha Worthington. The lecture explored the presence and impact of violence in the media, drawing from her expertise in Drama and Theatre Studies, as well as historical and more recent case studies.

It was great to see so many of our Year 7s engaging in the discussion and audience participation alongside students from Year 8 to Year 13.

These lectures are part of our Scholars' Programme, but are open to all students and staff to attend.
