Impressive bowling from Finn with 1 wicket for 5 runs off his 4 over. Edward took 3 wickets, Harvey 2 and Felix 1. Notable moment, Alfie's fantastic catch at mid wicket. With bat in hand Sam opened reaching 22 and Felix in at 3 hit 27 before they both retired. Leyton and Edward came in to finish the game off. Leyton hittting the winning runs with a personal tally of 8 and Edward backing him uo with 3. AKS finished 71 for 2. A solid performance in difficult conditions. U15 U15 AKS 136 def Rossall 76 U14 AKS 119 def Rossall 78 U13 Our U13's lost narrowly in a low-scoring affair away. QEGS batted first and posted 51 all out. Michael R pick of the bowlers with 2-9 from 4 overs. AKS then set out in pursuit of 52 but fell short at 38 all out after 11 overs. Not their finest hour with the bat, Xavier D top scored with 10. A great effort by the team to get soo close to the Quarter Finals, beaten in a close encounter with a high quality team. U12 AKS lost to Rossall by 22 runs. The U12’s lost a closely fought match against Rossall, following a strong bowling and fielding performance in the first innings, which restricted a talented Rossall side to 81 runs. A good start to the AKS innings saw Freddie B retire not out, on 25 having batted superbly well. Ultimately it was Rossall's depth in the bowling attack that saw them through, as AKS lost quick wickets in overs 12 and 13 and finally being bowled out in the 19 over 22 runs short.
