Our U13's lost narrowly in a low-scoring affair away. QEGS batted first and posted 51 all out. Michael R pick of the bowlers with 2-9 from 4 overs. AKS then set out in pursuit of 52 but fell short at 38 all out after 11 overs. Not their finest hour with the bat, Xavier D top scored with 10. A little more patience/application required next game

U13 Boys Lancashire Cup result: AKS 7/112 (Xavier D 19, Jacob L 19) def by Merchant Taylor’s Boys School 7/113 (Cody B 3/10) in final over! A great effort by the team to get soo close to the Quarter Finals, beaten in a close encounter with a high quality team.

AKS lost to Rossall by 22 runs.

The U12’s lost a closely fought match against Rossall, following a strong bowling and fielding performance in the first innings, which restricted a talented Rossall side to 81 runs.

A good start to the AKS innings saw Freddie B retire not out, on 25 having batted superbly well. Ultimately it was Rossall's depth in the bowling attack that saw them through, as AKS lost quick wickets in overs 12 and 13 and finally being bowled out in the 19 over 22 runs short.
