Tycoons, Trinity and Brian House Hospices

Two AKS Tycoons groups welcomed Michelle Lonican from Trinity and Brian House for a poignant talk about the work of hospices and to donate their profits.

Build-A-Bauble created unique Christmas decorations and with 6 weeks of trading made over £250 profit.

Extravagant Engravings created laser and hand-etched wooden items and made an extraordinary £1,400 profit, putting them well placed at the top of this National competition.

Candle Cubes have already donated well over £400 profits to the Alzheimer’s Association and Just New Friends continue their fabulous social enterprise in the local community.

In the past 7 years Tycoons groups have always donated their profits to their chosen charity and the total donations are now close to £20,000 – a superb effort learning practical business skills alongside embarking on A-Level courses. PUBLISHED: 29 April 2022
