AKS Prep Sport working on overdrive this January!

PUBLISHED 27 January 2022

AKS Prep Sport has been working on overdrive this January with fixtures galore for children in Years 4-6.

Our boys have taken part in fixtures vs Rossall and Cheadle Hulme this month and with one fixture still left to play next week it's been great to see the development in all the players and the teams

Despite the weather causing the cancellation of the visit of Cheadle Hulme, the girls have been working hard in their hockey sessions getting ready for the festival season ahead this term.

Unlucky to come runners up on goal difference at the U11 Lancashire Hockey tournament this week, all the teams U9-U11 have had success on the pitch with victories in the friendly matches with Rossall.

With further fixtures next week, we hope to finish the term off on a positive note.

This week also sees the boys in hockey action at the U11 AJIS Boys festival taking place in Bolton, this Friday, 28th January. Good luck boys!!

Both our girl and boy teams have been in Festival action this term at the U10 Boys & U11 Girls AJIS Football Festivals, held in Manchester.

Both squads have done superbly well, against tough opponents, with goals, saves, and smiles along the way and more importantly the resilience and tenacity to work hard together as a team.

Our boys squads have also played a friendly fixture vs Rossall this week.

Sports Hall Athletics Finals

On Thursday 27th Jan, our Indoor athletics squad will compete in the Wyre & Fylde Sports hall athletics finals being held at Blackpool Sports Centre, Stanley Park.

Competing against schools from around the Wyre & Fylde area, will be a great challenge for all our athletes.
